The ('Where to Show my Pop-ups') options allow you to have a granular control over your campaign's visibility, so that you can accurately choose when to show or hide your popups/conversion mats based on url string matching

By default, campaigns are set to be run on all pages without exclusion. However by adjusting the matching rules using the two boxes below. you can quickly configure the desired targeting options:

Here are some examples of the standard url patterns we accept and some ideas for granular targeting:

/SITE_INDEX

When "/SITE_INDEX" is used, it refers to the homepage of your website ONLY, because if we use "/" only, it refers to all pages under "/" folder.

/folder_name/

This value refers to ALL pages under the directory called "folder_name", e.g

"/blog/" (targets all pages under "/blog/")

or "/blog/apple/" (targets all pages under "/blog/apple/")

/folder_name/page_name.ext

This value refers to only the single page at "folder_name/page_name.ext", e.g

"/blog/my_post.html" or "/category/sub_category/page.php"

/folder_name/DIR_INDEX

When "DIR_INDEX" is used, it refers to the index of the directory - i.e., the folder level, but none of the sub-pages.

For e.g if you want to use your campaign only on the index of the blog (i.e, only on "/blog/" but not pages under this folder), then you need to use "/blog/DIR_INDEX", because if you use "/blog/" it will be executed on all pages under that directory - as in the first targeting option above.

"Wild_card"

To target any page on your site with any particular word (or character string) in the URL, just use the keyword WITHOUT an initial slash (/) - for example "product" would target any page on your site with "product" in the URL.

All these options can be combined to create a very powerful and highly targeted campaign, to combine multiple values, just separate them by comma ",", here are some examples :

/SITE_INDEX, /blog/my_page.html

This value refers to the homepage of the website and the page at /blog/my_page

/blog/, /contact/, /tutorials/

This value refers to all pages under the three folders named "blog", "contact" and "tutorials".

/blog/DIR_INDEX, /my_page.html

This value refers to the index of the blog only, plus the page called "my_page.html".

You can combine unlimited number of values for both options (inclusion, exclusion).
